easy pod installation

last weekend we retro fitted a 3" spindrifter air drain to a 1225 gallon pond and ran this to ea easy pod , aquamax 8000lph pump 25 watt uv and airtech 70 air pump .aquamax was protected by sequence strainer basket to catch large debris during cleaning cycle .filter bay was covered with decking hinged lids .








last weekend we relaid the coping stones to finish the pond .(first two pictures )

Heres a short video taken at night of my koi and sturgeon including one of my latge beluga sturgeon named cruiser .cruiser is 6ft and over 100lbs in weight his partner bruiser is 5" 6" and a bit heavier .they and their mates get through a kilo of food a day and will readilly hand feed ,if your carefull.

hese are a few pics of a recent pond build .it is an 850 gallon pond with butyl liner and aerated 3" bottom drain leading to an easy pod filter with 55 watt uv and aquamax 8000 pump housed in block chamber and decking lid . top edge finished with moonstone paving .

I have kept fish all my life ranging from coldwater pondfish/koi, South American predatory catfish and for the last four years have specialised in sturgeon, now owning Beluga sturgeons up to 6ft and 100lbs in weight.
